At dusk in Barcelona, Mandy stood before the Sagrada Família, gazing upward for a long time.
The setting sun fell upon the magnificent façade, casting a golden glow over the stone carvings and giving them a solemn, powerful presence. In that moment, she was deeply moved by the power of “light”: light can illuminate architecture, and it can also illuminate belief; light can belong to art, and it can also enter industry; light is not only a source of beauty, but can also become a precise force that drives the progress of manufacturing.
In August 2007, this reflection on light and mission became a new brand — GLORYSTAR.
“GLORY” represents honor, quality, and long-term value; “STAR” symbolizes direction, brilliance, and guidance. Mandy and the founding team hoped that GLORYSTAR would be more than a laser equipment manufacturer. They envisioned it as an industrial star capable of illuminating the path forward for manufacturing.
In the early days of the company, GLORYSTAR also went through difficult times. Technologies had to be repeatedly improved, products had to be continuously verified, market trust had to be rebuilt, and problems at customer sites had to be solved one by one. Facing doubts, returns, and pressure, Mandy always believed that a truly valuable company does not win by short-term speed, but stands firm through long-term quality.
She often told the team:
“What we make is not simply a machine, but an industrial tool that customers can trust for the long term. Every detail represents the quality and responsibility of GLORYSTAR.”
It was this belief that drove GLORYSTAR to continuously build stricter quality standards, more systematic inspection processes, and a more complete service system. From design, production, assembly, and commissioning to final delivery, every machine must withstand the real test of the customer’s production site.
At its R&D and manufacturing base in the Pearl River Delta, GLORYSTAR transformed the concept of “light” into the precision of industrial manufacturing. Laser cutting, laser welding, and automated equipment are no longer just cold machines; they are important tools that help customers improve efficiency, reduce costs, optimize processes, and advance intelligent manufacturing.
Mandy has also always emphasized the value of service:
“Equipment delivery is not the end, but the true beginning of customer value. GLORYSTAR’s service should be like the first ray of sunlight — timely, reliable, and warm as it reaches every customer.”
For this reason, GLORYSTAR continues to build global localized service capabilities, enabling customers not only to purchase equipment, but also to receive training, application support, after-sales response, spare parts assurance, and the trust of long-term cooperation.
Today, GLORYSTAR laser equipment has reached markets around the world and serves customers across an increasing number of industries. Yet Mandy has always believed that the true glory of an enterprise is not short-term sales figures, but customer recognition after long-term use; not temporary market attention, but the team’s commitment to quality; not simply delivering equipment, but the responsibility to solve every problem to the end.
The birth of GLORYSTAR began with a beam of light.
This light came from the inspiration of distant architecture, and also from Mandy’s deep passion for manufacturing. It illuminated the path of entrepreneurship and continues to illuminate GLORYSTAR’s commitment to customers around the world.
True glory does not lie in rapid success, but in long-term perseverance.
True brilliance does not lie in momentary radiance, but in continuously lighting the way for customers, the industry, and the future.
This is the mission of light shared by Mandy and GLORYSTAR.
